CivicLex teaches workshops to help people understand how local government works in Lexington. They offer three different workshops: one about how city government is set up and who's in charge, one about the city budget and how tax money gets spent, and one about how to speak up for issues you care about. Each workshop is 75 minutes long and includes fun activities. They can come to your group's location or you can come to theirs. These workshops help regular people learn how to get involved in their community and make their voices heard in local government.
