This program helps governments test pregnant women for syphilis and HIV at the same time during regular check-ups. When women test positive for syphilis, they get treatment with a simple shot that costs less than 50 cents. This prevents babies from being born sick or dying. The program works with governments in Africa to train health workers and make sure clinics have the right tests and medicine. So far, they've helped over 320,000 pregnant women get tested and saved more than 1,300 newborn lives.
