This program helps children in poor communities stay healthy and in school by treating worm infections. Children get safe medicine pills once or twice a year for free through their schools or health workers. The program works with governments in India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, and Malawi to give treatments to millions of children. When kids don't have worms, they can absorb food better, feel stronger, and attend school more often. Research shows treated children miss 25% less school and earn more money as adults. The program costs less than 50 cents per treatment and has helped 198 million children in 2024.
