The Mayor's Office of Special Events helps people get permits for parades, festivals, and other events in Houston. They also help produce city events like Fleet Week and the Thanksgiving Day Parade. You can apply for permits to hold events in parks or on streets. They accept applications Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You need to fill out a Special Event Application form and pay fees. They are located on the 1st floor of City Hall at 901 Bagby Street.
