Public Kayak AdventuresTake a 4-hour guided kayak trip through restored marshes at Artist Boat Coastal Heritage Preserve on Galveston Island. You'll learn about habitat restoration and conservation while paddling through pristine coastal prairie. The adventure includes a watercolor art demonstration and time to paint your own artwork. All equipment is provided including tandem kayaks, life jackets, and paddles. Adventures start with a short 0.3-mile walk through the preserve. Children must be at least 7 years old and under 13 must kayak with an adult.
Private Kayak AdventureArtist Boat offers private guided kayak trips for groups of 1-25 people. These trips are perfect for families, scouts, and other groups who want to guarantee spots for everyone. You can choose your own date and destination based on what staff is available.
