1Community Violence Intervention Training & SupportLive Free USA helps communities reduce gun violence by up to 60% using proven methods. They teach community leaders, police, and government officials how to stop violence before it happens. Their approach focuses on working with the small number of people most likely to be involved in shootings and helping them change their lives. Live Free provides three main services: education through intensive bootcamps and storytelling programs, advocacy to get government funding for violence prevention, and hands-on training to help cities start their own violence prevention programs. They work with communities over several years to provide ongoing support, training, and help with data analysis.
